Make Your Bedroom Elegant

The bedroom is our private, sacred place, a place to rest and relax. Her "role" is to help us prepare and sink into a refreshing dream.

Therefore, when it comes to designing the bedroom, it must get all the elegance to make you feel as comfortable as possible. With a few tips and tricks, you can turn your bedroom into an incredible space, without much cost.

1. Remove the mess from your bedroom

Before you decide to give your bedroom a new look, first you have to get rid of the mess. Old magazines, perfumes and furniture that you don't use occupy an important part of your bedroom where every corner matters. Because of them, your bedroom looks bleak and messy. So, the advice is to get rid of them or reorganize them to take up as little space as possible.

2. Find the right place for the bed

Setting the bed in the right place is the starting point for decorating the bedroom. The bed must be set in a harmonious position. This means as far as possible from the door and window, or external elements that can disturb us in any way. The oriental tradition of Feng Shui says that if we sleep with our head towards the west, we will wake up with more energy. If we sleep with our heads towards the east, we will be much more relaxed. Besides putting a bed in a harmonious place, a good mattress is also a prerequisite for good rest.

3. Warm carpet

A clean and cold floor can certainly spoil your mornings. Buy yourself a nice carpet that fits with the rest of your decorations and brighten yourself up every moment you spend in the room.

4. Symmetry helps us to rest

The symmetry in the bedroom is also significant for elegance and a good rest. In this sense, furniture plays a very important role. Symmetrical furniture exudes balance and reflects such feelings on people in the room. To achieve this balance, it is recommended to use pillows of the same colour as the furniture in the room. The orderly room is synonymous with the organized mind. If we have a sense of order in the head, we will find it easier to fall asleep.

5. Minimize the number of gadgets in the bedroom

The bedroom serves for sleeping. Therefore, the TV should not be part of its décor, although many of us cannot sleep without it. Because of the TV, you'll often be awake longer, which of course means you'll be tired the next day. It is due to the content of the news, disturbing scenes, irritative colours, or the light on standby mode. Cell phones are not a smart choice either. So keep them in some room where you are active.

6. Pay attention to the light in a bedroom

Lighting in the bedroom needs to be warm and balanced. But if you do not have the setting option, then do not use the lamps that hang above your head or above the bed. And to avoid the central light, buy a lamp which throws discreet light.

6. Colours are important part of a bedroom

Colours have great power over us and can affect our condition. Therefore, it is advisable to choose soft colours for a bedroom. Also, pastel colours such as pink, light blue or turquoise are always a safe choice. Avoid aggressive colours such as red, orange or intense yellow. In general, you should avoid intense tones in the bedroom. This colour advice also applies to walls and furniture, and to decorative details.

With these tips, you will easily turn your bedroom into a personal oasis, where rest and enjoyment are the right priorities. I hope this text will inspire you to make changes in your home.
