Fusion of #architecture and construction
Before you imagine the idyllic scenes of a fairytale home, you should be aware that life in the house is preceded by the time-consuming process of its #design and #construction. During the construction process, we convert a design solution from paper to a usable building. The whole process starts with planning and financing and continues until we build the #project ready for use. Construction takes place at a client's location, where the architect and construction manager are working closely with the building owner (investor). Construction also requires collaboration across multiple disciplines.

Collaboration across multiple disciplines
The collaboration includes the investor, the project manager, a construction manager, and an engineer or architect. The investor should make a project task describing all wishes and needs, determine the budget and choose the architect. Then he describes to the architect details such as:
home style
type of house (ground floor, storey)
flat or sloping roofs
number of rooms
whether he wants a swimming pool etc.
On the basis of these requirements, experts will design the organization, appearance and position of the house. The position and shape of the house will be a combination of the investor's desire and the personal expression of the architect.
A project manager manages the job, while a construction manager, engineer or architect supervises it.
Those involved with the execution must also consider zoning requirements, the environmental impact of the job, scheduling, budgeting, construction site safety, availability and transportation of building materials and logistics.
