Modular housing solutions first appeared in England, Canada and the USA, while the expansion of modular houses is increasing in Germany.
Modular construction is not a passing trend since it is favourable to a modern rhythm of life. Modular construction alleviates the shortage of construction workers and reduces construction time and costs.
Although this type of construction has been used in the housing sector, now it is becoming increasingly popular in the commercial sector as well. Thanks to the growing quality of building and design, hardly anyone will associate modular homes with residential containers.
The great thing about modular houses is their ability to change depending on your professional or personal situation.

What is a module?
A module is a construction unit, usually square or rectangular, which contains built-in floor, ceiling, exterior and/or interior walls.
We need to clarify that the modular house is not the same as the prefab house. In modular construction, we do not produce individual elements (ceilings, floors, walls..), but individual parts of the space (tubes, electrical installations, etc.). Then the single unit is transported to the construction site. Some works such as insulation (which would otherwise be done on the construction site) are done in production halls. So the time factor, which is very important in construction, practically disappears. Since parts are made in production halls, construction quality also rises.
Modular buildings are extremely flexible and can have different purposes. Modular construction applies to properties consisting of several units with identical functions and purposes. For example residential buildings, hotels and student dormitories.
